Information

Fournales shocks have been around for more than 30 years, and have a dedicated following among customers
who appreciate their excellent performance, long life, ease of adjustment, light weight, and most of all the quality of ride they provide.
The range comprises four designs of twinshock, plus around 350 different monoshocks, some specialised shocks for
Harley Davidson Springers and Softails and BMW telelevers.

Fournales Air Twins

Fournales shocks are high pressure air shocks which do not have springs like coilover shocks. The Air Twins have 50mm diameter high pressure air filled dampers. These have a black top cover and chrome silding tube.

All Air Twins have an exposed air valve for adjusting the internal pressure. Adjusting the internal air pressure allows for changing the effective "spring strengh" easily. These come with a 2 year warranty.

Fournales Classic Shocks

Fournales shocks are high pressure air shocks which do not have springs like coilover shocks. The Classics have 50mm diameter high pressure air filled dampers. These have a chrome top cover and chrome silding tube.

Most Classics have the air valve for adjusting the internal pressure hidden and accessible by unscrewing the drop down top cover. Adjusting the internal air pressure allows for changing the effective "spring strengh" easily. These come with a 2 year warranty.

HD Alloy Twin Shock

Fournales shocks are high pressure air shocks which do not have springs like coilover shocks. The HD Alloy range have high pressure air filled dampers. These have a black cover and black silding tube with anodised ally rings.

These are lighter than the steel versions have the air valve for adjusting the internal pressure hidden and accessible by unscrewing the drop down top cover. Adjusting the internal air pressure allows for changing the effective "spring strengh" easily.

These are available for most model of bike although not listed. Please enquire if your model is not listed. These come with a 2 year warranty.

Fournales Magnum Twin Shocks

Fournales shocks are high pressure air shocks which do not have springs like coilover shocks. The Magnum range have chunky 60mm diameter high pressure air filled dampers. These have a chrome top cover and chrome ribbed silding tube.

All Magnums have the air valve for adjusting the internal pressure hidden and accessible by unscrewing the drop down top cover. Adjusting the internal air pressure allows for changing the effective "spring strengh" easily. These come with a 2 year warranty.

Pan Cruise Evo

Fournales shocks are high pressure air shocks which do not have springs like coilover shocks. For Harley Davidson Softail models there are two types of Pan Cruise Evo Shocks made, for those bikes built up to the end of 1999 and then the other for those from 2000 onwards (Pictured). These have two valves per shock, one for altering 'spring rate' and the other alters the ride height via changing the length of the shock. These come with a 2 year warranty.

Fournales Monoshocks

Fournales high pressure air monoshocks have several advantages over the usual coil-sprung aftermarket shocks.

  • Exceptionally comfortable ride
  • Can be adjusted for much wider ranges of weights than a conventional shock
  • Less than half the weight of comparable coil shocks
  • Straightforward access to the shock’s air valve, making adjustment easy. Most aftermarket monoshocks have preload adjustment, but it’s often quite difficult to get a c-spanner on the shock to adjust it
  • No-coil design means easy to keep clean and looking good
  • Can be specified for uprated use with sidecars at no extra charge
  • Plus the usual Fournales advantages of excellent ride quality, no bottoming out, very high mileage between rebuilds, 2-year warranty.

Pumps

Fournales High pressure air shocks are adjusted by altering the air pressure inside. The Fournales pumps offer you comfort of mind that the air is filtered to ensure no dust or debris can enter the shock and potentially damage the seals.

We are able to supply a full range of hand and stirrup pumps. There are 3 pumps in the range

  • 0-30 bar hand pump with analogue gauge
  • 0-40 bar hand pump with digital gauge (Pictured)
  • 0-60 bar stirrup pump
